The Growth of AI

As I test applications and services sold in artificial intelligence (AI), I'm continually astounded by their vast potential and the paradoxes they present. The AI landscape, now a burgeoning field with a market size of USD 136.55 billion as of 2022, is expanding rapidly and is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 37.3% through 2030. This growth trajectory reflects industry giants' relentless innovation and research in the automotive, healthcare, and finance sectors.

One of my most personal and intriguing explorations has been creating a video on AI ethics using AI itself. The irony of this endeavor was not lost. The Irony is a profound reflection of the dichotomy that AI embodies. Here, AI isn't just a subject of discussion; it becomes the medium, actively participating in its narrative. This self-referential project underscores our nuanced relationship with AI, revealing its capabilities and limitations.

In my interactions with AI, I've witnessed its transformative impact across industries. For instance, Intel Corporation's strategic move to acquire Cnvrg.io exemplifies AI's growing significance in corporate strategy and development. This acquisition represents a broader trend where technology isn't just an operational tool but forms the core of organizational innovation.

AI's pervasive influence is also evident in the consumer world. The decision by McDonald's to invest in an AI startup to enhance customer experience illustrates how AI is reshaping how businesses interact with customers. It's about personalizing experiences, understanding preferences, and delivering solutions that resonate with individual needs.

Leveraging the principles and mechanisms of brain functions presents a novel perspective, potentially revolutionizing cloud computing's existing paradigms. Currently in research in my lab  

Brain Biomimicry is an innovative approach that draws inspiration from the biological structure and function of the human brain to develop solutions for brain damage assessments and potential neuron rerouting. This project is at the intersection of neuroscience, neuromorphic engineering, and computational modeling, offering promising avenues for understanding and treating brain injuries.
